We cost every job individually.
Send us a detailed email brief and we will send you a budget estimate.
Getting the job brief correct makes for a better job and better budget value:
It's up to YOU as a producer or client, to clarify as much of this detail, to help US use our skills and experience to help determine the most economical yet adequate way to deliver the service required.
There is no point in any of us omitting vital bits of information from the job description to obtain a cheaper budget; the resulting problems will end up costing you more, and/or spoiling the job.
Likewise, simply "shopping around" for the lowest on-paper price, or haggling away essential parts of the service provision, usually doesn't pay off, either.
Facilities cost components of an OB budget:
Major OB system (cameras, switching audio, recorders, playbacks, communications)
Usually a package deal supplied on a day rate
Extra equipment items, especially those required to be hired in for the job (not often)
OB Tech Manager (always included along with the equipment) on an hourly or daily rate.
Subcontracted freelance crew: on hourly rates
Participation in pre-production and site visits are sometimes charged for.
Booking fee for crew: we add 15 to 20% to the raw crew costs
Consumables
Travel and location costs.
Production costs, in addition to the above: not usually handled by us
Production work
Non-technical crew
Catering
Rights, legals, insurances.
Talent fees
Venue fees.
